When released, the EX30 will have two powertrains, which will utilize a 64.0-kWh battery pack. The Single Motor Extended Range model will have a rear-mounted electric motor, produce 268 horsepower, and offer the best range at 275 miles. The other engine is the Extended Range model, which dips in range to 265 miles but makes up for it with its two electric motors on each axle for all-wheel drive and a performance of 422 horsepower.

There’s a vertically oriented 12.3-inch display with an updated version of Volvo’s Google-based interface and Google Maps for navigation. To ensure you stay safe when traveling, Volvo has also equipped the EX30 with many safety features. Coming standard are automated emergency braking, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control. A new door-open alert system is also available and will warn you if a cyclist or other vehicle is approaching the EX30’s doors.
