Warranties and protection plans
New Vehicle Limited Warranty
The new vehicle warranty period for repairs is four (4) years or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first. The warranty begins on the date the vehicle is sold/delivered to the first retail purchaser or put into service, whichever occurs first.****
Lifetime Parts & Labor Warranty
The Lifetime Parts & Labor Warranty is available to any retail customer that purchases an eligible part and has it installed at an Authorized Volvo Cars Retailer. Pay for a repair once and never pay for it again.+

Roadside assistance and certified collision
Tow for Life
We’ve got you covered. Even after your warranty has expired, your vehicle is still eligible for Tow for Life. With no cost+++, we will arrange to have your Volvo car towed to the nearest authorized Volvo Cars retailer within a 25-mile radius.

Driving Service Sustainability
By 2040, Volvo Cars will be a climate-neutral, circular business. To help get there, we’ve partnered with recycling companies to create a new process for our retailers to safely recycle, reuse, and dispose of waste products generated through servicing Volvo cars.
*Volvo Valet is only available at participating retailers. **Only available on model year 2015.5 and newer. ***The Customer Lifetime Parts & Labor Warranty does not apply to third party purchasers such as independent repair shops, body shops or on parts purchased over the counter and not installed by an authorized Volvo dealer. The warranty on these parts will be for two years from the purchase date for defects for the part replacement only. Labor will not be included. Part failures due to installation errors will not be covered by any Volvo Part Warranty. ****Volvo Car USA LLC, as applicable warrant that repairs required to Volvo passenger vehicles due to defects in material or workmanship and occurring under normal use will be made at no charge for parts and/or labor during the warranty period. +This warranty does not cover accessories, wear items or consumables. ++New Volvo vehicles include complimentary Roadside Assistance for 4 years. Certified by Volvo vehicles include complimentary Volvo Roadside Assistance for 5 years. +++There is no cost for (1) the first 25 miles to any authorized Volvo retailer in the case of a mechanical or electrical breakdown or (2) the first 25 miles to an authorized Certified Collision Center in the case of an accident, for any distance further than the foregoing, there will be an overage fee for mileage beyond the initial 25 miles.
